This week, Gene continues with his email marketing discussion. Today he comes to us with two ideas on how to use email marketing to help your PDR business. The first idea is to send out a newsletter, postcard email, or some kind of reminder to your customers regularly so that they remember your company name.
The second idea is to have an automated appointment emailing system so your customers are regularly reminded about their repair service appointments. Gene has already implemented this system and explains that after the client makes the appointment, an email is sent out to confirm it. Then a week before the repair day, another email is sent out to remind the client of the appointment. Lastly, Gene explains that a day of two before the repair, another email is sent out to let the client know that the technician will be keeping in touch on the day of the repair.
What these reminders do is, firstly, it reduces the chances of “no shows” so clients are not left waiting. More importantly, it keeps your company name in the head of your customer and shows them you work in a professional way. Gene goes on to say that you want your clients to feel like your company is a big franchise and using these ideas will help you achieve that.
