On this week’s episode of PDR Marketing Minute, Gene talks to us about copy which is basically any words that you might say in a video or print to reach out to customers to explain what your services are. He discusses two points of copy that will help you reach customers faster and more efficiently.
The first point and probably the most important one is that the words you use should always be easy to understand. If a customer doesn’t know what you are talking about, they will not be interested in reaching out to you. Some common terms to use are dent, door ding, and crease. Some words you should avoid using are crowns, high spots, and blending because customers don’t understand it. Your explanations should be as simple as it possibly can.
The second point Gene puts forward is to be different and do things differently. He talks about how he, unlike everybody else, doesn’t offer free estimates to his customers. Instead, Gene offers free assessments. This tiny play on words gets customers to choose your services rather than the others that offer free estimates.
Lastly, Gene directs listeners to PDRMarketingMinute.com where they can sign up to his email list and receive his Review System. Listeners can also head over to ThePDRVideoCourse.com where they can learn how to make amazing videos using their smartphones or tablets.
