In this week’s episode of the PDR Marketing Minute Podcast, Gene talks to us about referrals and what we can do to get our former customers to refer our services to other potential customers. He talks about how technicians don’t really think about this topic a lot and how it can be used as a great source for finding new jobs.
He goes on to talk about how referrals were discussed in last year’s seminar in Florida. Gene says that you should never pay for referrals as it can often compromise your service quality and leaves your customers questioning the reason behind the referral.
Gene then discusses a program he is preparing to implement in his business, Dent Repair Now. The program offers already existing customers a discount card for the services. That card can then be further passed down to other potential customers and they can then avail of the discounted prices. The new customers can then get their own discount card and share it with others. In this way, all customers benefit and the business gains a larger customer base. Although it is quite a process, Gene explains that he is very close to implementing it as the cards were delivered in the week and the customer list is ready.
Gene then talks about a Webinar he will be hosting in the coming week on Tuesday at 9:00 PM Eastern Time after the PDR College Podcast episode.
