On this episode, Gene gives us a tip on an update for Google AdWords. The new update makes it possible to now double the headline length on your ads. Gene explains that thanks to the update, your headlines can now be bigger and capture more real estate for customers to see. It also means that your ads can be a lot more descriptive to help customers better understand the services you offer and what your business is all about.
The update is a forced one which means if you don’t update your AdWords, your ads will served lesser than those who have updated. The process of updating your AdWords account is simple. All you need to do is log in to your account, click on Campaigns, and go to your ads. Each ad has a pencil icon and by clicking on that, you will be able to copy the ad. It then opens up with the added space to add a second headline to your existing ads. Once completed, publish the ad and wait for the reviewing process.
After it is approved, go back to the single headline ad and pause it. The new ads will automatically get activated and draw in a lot more views. Gene ends by advising listeners to always stay updated with Google to benefit from it. To get Gene’s tips for gaining more reviews, visit PDRMarketingMinute.com and sign up to his email list.
