This week, Gene sends us a reminder to check our AdWords account. He has been working with some people and came across some errors that he brings to our attention. He advises listeners to check their settings and get them right, check their bids and not overpay for a search term, but most importantly, that they don’t overpay for terms that make absolutely no sense.
Google often upgrades your account and charge you more than you signed up for. Gene says he and other people are noticing that Google has changed the way their search results are being served up. You can see multiple AdWords ads at the top and then the Map listings follow them. The actual websites and organic listings have dropped extremely low and have become somewhat irrelevant. Gene encourages listeners to check their AdWords accounts properly and regularly to avoid these hindrances.
If you want to learn some interesting tips for AdWords, you can get tickets for Gene’s seminar in Pittsburgh on the 9th and 10th of November. On the second day, which is a Saturday, Gene plans on having a breakout session which will include AdWords. He will be helping out clients and attendees with some useful tips and tricks. Even if you wish to get better at sales, Gene says Kip will be at the seminar discussing some great processes around sales while he discusses his own system to sell PDR at a retail level.
You can find out more information about the seminar on the PDR Marketing Minute Facebook page or you can check out PDRMarketingMinute.com and sign up for the email list and get Gene’s Review System.
